Tis’ the Season
The holiday season is upon us and that involves a lot of cooking. Dinner meals seem to be the constant focus of the season, but we can not forget that most people eat 3 meals a day and we certainly can’t skimp on breakfast. My husband would surely mention it, seeing as it is his favorite meal of the day.
Preparing in Bulk
When serving a large crowd preparing food in bulk is key. One does not have time to shop, prep, and cook every meal alongside hosting. We deserve to enjoy the holidays as well. Slaving away in a kitchen all day doesn’t scream fun but on the contrary. Daunting is a more fitting word. And who wants that?
Pancake breakfasts puts the guest in control over their own plate and the buffet style element adds a bit of luxury to a common breakfast staple. Adding a bit of fruit, various toppings, and a nice specialty drink will make the morning of, that much more luxurious. Toppings can vary of course. There is no wrong or right when it comes to serving.
Ambience
Wall plugins, lighting, and candles aren’t the only way to improve the ambience of the home. The smell of pancakes wafting in the air as your guest arrive for a fun gathering is unmatched. The welcoming aroma will set the tone for the day and maybe even help avoid the uncomfortable feeling that comes with having distant relatives and extended family arriving at your abode.
Even more simply put… who dosent like a good fresh pancake? I mean that’s why Ihop, Denny’s, and the like ( just to name a few)exist. Warm coffee , syrup, and butter is the perfect combination for a breakfast Sheng Dig. Having the healthy element of whole wheat will alleviate the guilt of carbs and put everyone in the mindset of enjoying the days festivities and packing on a few pounds.
